The WSU women's tennis team will take two weeks off before traveling to the Pacific Palisades, Calif. to participate in the All American Championships.

LAST WEEK: In their first home appearance of the season, the Cougars claimed seven championship titles.

The Washington State women's tennis team dominated the courts as they captured five of the eight singles and two of the four doubles titles, bringing the Ninth Annual Cougar Classic to a close Saturday.

DYBIZC AND VAN DE VEN'S STREAKS: Freshman Anna Dybicz (Jonknping, Sweden) continued her winning streak as she captured her third consecutive singles title by defeating BYU's Lindsay Ferrell 6-3, 6-3 in the finals of flight four.

Senior Moniek van de Ven (Stellenbosch, South Africa) grabbed her second consecutive singles title after downing Jamie Parker of BYU 6-1, 6-4 in the finals of flight seven

MOURA'S COMEBACK: Senior Ana Moura (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), who was unable to capture a title in the two previous invitationals, took home her first title by defeating BSU's Helen Lawson 6-3, 6-1 in flight two.

ARIAS' APPEARANCE: Freshman Lorena Arias (Tlalnepantla, Mexico) made her first singles appearance coming off of a knee injury she suffered before coming to WSU. Arias lost a tough match to BYU's Elizaveta Khoudoiarova 6-3, 6-4, in the finals of flight five.

GROCE ON ARIAS' PLAY: 'I thought Lorena played very well, considering this was her first singles match. It was good for us to get a chance to see what she can do.'
