Pac-10 Player of the WeekARIZONA STATE junior midfielder Antoinette Marjanovic has been named the Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 3-9.

Marjanovic, from Los Angeles, tallied both game-winning goals as ASU collected wins against Oregon and Oregon State. Against Oregon, Marjanovic dribbled 20 yards beating the Ducks' defense to net the game-winner. Against the Beavers, she took a rebound off of the goalkeeper to knock in the game-winner. This is Marjanovic's first career Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and Arizona State's third Player of the Week honor all-time.

ARIZONA: With their 1-1 tie against Oregon State last week, the Wildcats extended their number of school-record overtime matches to six this season. Five of Arizona's last eight games have been overtime contests. Freshman Liz Bartlett scored the Cats' lone goal last week, an unassisted breakaway.

ARIZONA STATE: The Sun Devils rallied to score two goals in the final 8:04 and defeat Oregon 2-1 in the Pac-10 opener for both teams last week. Stacey Tullock put ASU on the board first, although she did not start due to the flu and did not enter the game until the 40 minute mark. Tullock scored two goals on the week.

CALIFORNIA: Sophomore Laura Schott notched her 17th goal of the season in Cal's 2-1 loss to Washington last week. The loss marked the first time this season Cal surrendered more than one goal. Schott's score ties her with Olympian and former Golden Bear Joy Fawcett for second on the Cal single- season goals list.

OREGON: Junior Chalise Baysa lifted the Ducks to a 2-0 victory over Arizona last week, and in the process became the school's all-time leader in goals scored. Baysa scored her 22nd and 23rd career goalsagainst the Wildcats, surpassing Erin Anderson's 21 career goals from 1996-99. The Oregon-Arizona match will be broadcast on a tape-delay basis Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. on FOX Sports Net.

OREGON STATE: Oregon State battled to a 1-1 tie with Arizona and lost to Arizona State 2-0 after allowing a pair of Sun Devil goals in the second half. The Beavers outshot the Wildcats 24-8, but were only able to come up with one score, a second-half goal by senior MF Ann Marie Fallows.

STANFORD: The Cardinal split games against its Northwest rivals falling to Washington 1-0, but defeating Washington State 1-0. Sophomore MF Becky Myers scored on a header from a free kick in the second overtime period against the Cougars. Senior GK Carly Smolak had 10 saves in the win, notching her seventh shutout of the season. Her seven shutouts tie her career-high for shutouts in a season.

UCLA: The Bruins defeated Marquette 5-1 in a non-conference game before tying with USC 1-1 in their first conference game of the season. Freshman MF Lindsay Greco scored in the second half for the Bruins. UCLA outshot USC 30-14.

USC: Freshman F Jessica Edwards scored in the first half, while sophomore Gk Lauren Arase made 11 saves on 30 shots in the Trojans' Conference opener against UCLA. Arase is now 6-0-2 on the season and 13-0-2 in her career at USC. She has allowed only three goals in her last 510 minutes and has made 34 saves in her last three matches.

WASHINGTON: The Huskies swept their Bay Area rivals for the first time ever with wins over previously unbeaten Cal 2-1 and Stanford 1-0. Freshman Melissa Bennett scored the game-winning goal against the Bears with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. Washington is riding a five- game winning streak.

WASHINGTON STATE: Washington State lost two tough matches to California 2-1 and Stanford 1-0. The Cougars held off the Golden Bears until the Pac-10's leading scorer, Laura Schott scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute. Freshman M/F Jenna Wirtz was credited an assist in her first collegiate play on senior F Deka DeWitt's score.
