WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Arizona setter Dana Burkholder has been named the Pacific Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for Sept. 5-10, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Burkholder, a junior from Bakersfield, Calif., dished out 126 assists (14.0 apg) in three matches, all of which went the minimum three games. She also went on to tally 22 kills (.626) with only two errors in 33 attempts.

In a win over Santa Clara, Burkholder hit .667 with a career-high 13 kills on 18 attempts with only one error. She also chipped in with 51 assists, six block assists and six digs in that match. Against No. 19 Baylor, Burkholder recorded eight kills (.727), 41 assists and seven digs. She capped off the week by taking MVP honors in the Starwoods Plaza Wildcat Classic.

This is the second weekly honor for Burkholder, Arizona's 12th Player of the Week honor all-time.
