Women's Golf In Eighth After Two Rounds of Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

BERKELEY - The California women's golf team is in eighth place after two rounds of the 54-hole Edean Ihlandfeldt Invitational Tuesday at Sahalee Country Club. The Bears shot a second round score of 307, giving them a two-day total of 625. USC leads the 17-team field with a 599, while Arizona State is six strokes back at 605.

Sophomore Vikki Laing continues to lead Cal's contingent, duplicating her first day 77 for a total score of 154. Laing is tied for 23rd, while Stephanie Keever of Stanford leads the field with a 142.

Cal freshman Sarah Huarte is having another good tournament, as she is tied for 26th with a 155 (79-76).

The final round of play begins Wednesday at 8 a.m.
