Women's Golfers Finish Fifth at Ihlanfeldt Invitational

The UCLA women's golf team finished fifth at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington at Sahalee Country Club.

The Bruins 54-hole total of 914 was three shots better than sixth place Tulsa. USC won the event with a three-round total of 896, followed by Stanford at 908, Arizona State at 911 and Pepperdine in fourth at 913.

UCLA freshman Gina Umeck tied for eighth place at 225 after posting a final round score of 75. Senior Laura Moffat placed 14th at 228, junior Alicia Um tied for 17th at 230 and sophomore Saki Uechi tied for 19th at 231, Freshman Johanna Andersson placed 66th at 247.

Stanford's Stephanie Keever and Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh tied for first place at 216, even par. Keever, the 36-hole leader, posted a final round score of 74, and Prammanasudh carded an even par 72 on Wednesday.
