After all, he had just booted the pigskin 65 yards down the field (after a significant roll) to shift field position in the Trojans' favor during Saturday's 42-29 USC win over Syracuse. All Negrete wanted was for one of his teammates to give him some love; a returned air-bump would have sufficed.
