Colorado at Oregon (12:00 p.m. PT, Pac-12 Networks) - The winner of the 2012 meeting will take the all-time series lead, 9-8. Last year, Oregon won 45-2 in Boulder without the services of Darron Thomas and LaMichael James; Bryan Bennett got the start and threw two touchdown passes (of course, the Buffs were without some of their big guys as well). It’s time for two new quarterbacks to flex their muscles in this Buffs-Ducks series, with Jordan Webb for Colorado and Marcus Mariota for Oregon.

UCLA at Arizona State (12:00 p.m. PT, FX) - Both teams have longer than normal to get ready for this Pac-12 South position-jockeying tilt; UCLA has an outright bye week, while Arizona State will be coming off a Thursday-nighter against Oregon at home. The Bruins and Sun Devils played in a thriller last year, with Derrick Coleman’s one-yard touchdown run with 49 seconds left putting UCLA on top for a 29-28 victory, but not before Alex Garoutte missed a 46-yard field goal as time expired. This was the first of five straight losses to end the season for Arizona State, while UCLA would go on to play in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game. However, the Bruins haven’t won in Tempe since 2006, and this year’s contest won’t be any easier with how well the Sun Devils are performing. This will be the first time UCLA travels to Tempe not on Senior Day since 2004.

USC at Arizona (12:30 p.m. PT, ABC or ESPN2) - You like points on the scoreboard? The Wildcats-Trojans game should be to your liking. With the arms of Matt Barkley and Matt Scott and receiving threats of Marqise Lee and Austin Hill, there should be plenty of offense to go around. Last year, the two put up a combined 89 points in the Coliseum, with USC coming out on top, 48-41. Matt Barkley had a so-so game in that one, throwing for a school-record 468 yards to go along with four touchdown passes. Just so-so. The last five contests between USC and Arizona have all been one-possession games, so expect a close one in Tucson.

Washington State at Stanford (3:15 p.m. PT, Pac-12 Networks) - Back in 2009, one Andrew Luck made his collegiate debut against the Cougars in Pullman. The future No. 1 NFL draft pick threw for 193 yards and a touchdown, and the Cardinal won 39-13 against Washington State, marking the second year in a row Washington State lost its season opener by that score. Stanford has won the last four in this series, including a 44-14 victory in Pullman last year that was capped off by a Ty Montgomery kickoff return for a touchdown as time expired. The score wasn’t indicative of how close this game was at times, as the Cougars were down just by three at the half. The win gave Stanford a school-record 14 straight victories.

California at Utah (6:45 p.m. PT, Pac-12 Bay Area/Pac-12 Mountain) - Cal stopped a three-game skid with a 34-10 win over Utah in San Francisco last season. This Cal victory made Colorado and Utah the only two teams to not have a conference win last year (welcome to the Pac-12, eh?). However, Utah would get back on track after this loss, winning four straight to put itself in a position to represent the Pac-12 South in the conference championship game. The last time these two teams played before 2011 was in the 2009 Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego. Utah won that postseason battle 37-27.

Oregon State at Washington (7:15 p.m. PT, Pac-12 Networks) - This one could end up having a rather large say in the race for the Pac-12 North crown. The Huskies have already slayed the undefeated dreams of one Pac-12 team already - will they do the same to Oregon State in a hostile environment at CenturyLink Field (if Utah doesn’t beat the Beavers first, that is), or will Oregon State be able to hit up In-N-Out after the game? (Editor's note: Washington doesn't have In-N-Out. Cruel, right?) The Beavers had a largely forgettable 2011, but one of the bright spots came against the Huskies with a 38-21 win in Corvallis.
