Washington State's rally comes up just short

Washington was coasting through this game with heady point guard Abdul Gaddy throwing lobs left and right, leading his squad to a 62-47 advantage with eight minutes to play. All good in the Huskies' hood, right? Not quite. Brock Motum wasn't ready to see his career come to a close without one last stand. The senior from Australia scored eight of his 28 points in a 15-0 run for the Cougars that knotted things up at 62 with 2:50 to play. The game-tying bucket, however, came from the Robin to Motum's Batman - Royce Woolridge.

That was it for Washington State, however, falling to the Huskies 64-62. Still, it was a heck of a final push for Motum and the Cougs.
