Eleven Women’s Basketball Games To Be Televised by Pac-12 Networks

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State women’s basketball will have 11 games televised by the Pac-12 Networks throughout the 2013-14 season, the networks announced Tuesday.
The Cougars will make their Pac-12 Networks season debut in their final nonconference game, hosting Gonzaga University Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11:30 a.m. in Beasley Coliseum.
Washington State opens conference play with a three-game homestand beginning with the Arizona State University (Friday, Jan. 3) and the University of Arizona (Sunday, Jan. 5 – Pac-12 Networks).
WSU will renew its rivalry with the University of Washington with two games the following week, both televised by the Pac-12 Networks. The Cougars will host the first matchup (Tuesday, Jan. 7) in their annual “Cougs Have Heart” game to support the American Heart Association before heading to Seattle for a Sunday, Jan. 11 matchup with the Huskies.
During the third week of January, Washington State returns to Pullman to host the University of Colorado (Friday, Jan. 17) before facing the University of Utah Sunday, Jan. 19 on the Pac-12 Networks. The game against the Colorado will be “Dads & Daughters Date Night” at Beasley Coliseum.
WSU will hit the road for four straight games over the following two weeks, heading to Oregon to face the University of Oregon (Friday, Jan. 24) and Oregon State University (Sunday, Jan. 26). The following week, the Cougars will travel to Los Angeles to face USC Friday, Jan. 31 on the Pac-12 Networks before ending the road swing at UCLA Sunday, Feb. 2.
The second weekend of February will see the Cougars host the bay area schools in defending Pac-12 Conference champion Stanford University (Friday, Feb. 7) and Final Four participant University of California (Sunday, Feb. 9), with both games televised on the Pac-12 Networks. The game against the Cardinal will be WSU’s annual “Cougs Wave Pink” in support of raising awareness and supporting the fight against breast cancer. The game against the Golden Bears will be the Cougars annual “National Girls & Women in Sports Day.”
In mid-February, Washington State will make the return trip to face Utah (Friday, Feb. 14) before closing out the road swing Sunday, Feb. 16 with a matchup on the Pac-12 Networks against Colorado. The following week, WSU will host Oregon State (Friday, Feb. 21) before honoring its three seniors, Hana Potter, Sage Romberg and Brandi Thomas prior to tipoff against the Ducks (Sunday, Feb. 23) in the home finale.
WSU will close out the regular season on the road against California (Thursday, Feb. 27) and Stanford (Saturday, March 1), with both games televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
For the second straight season, the Pac-12 Conference Tournament will be held at KeyArena in Seattle (March 6-9).The opening, quarterfinal and semifinal rounds will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with the championship set to be shown on ESPN2.
