PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University men's golf team captured the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate title to conclude play at Washington State University's Palouse Ridge Golf Course.

“This is a great start to our season,” Cougar Head Coach Garrett Clegg said. “Everybody on the team contributed a key score this week. That is a good sign for us. Hopefully, this will give us some momentum we can carry through the fall.”

Washington State senior Blake Snyder shot a 68 (-2) in the third round to notch his first-career victory with a 203 (-7) over three rounds. Snyder shared the tournament title with San Jose State's Cody Blick. WSU junior Michael Anderson entered the day one shot off the lead and shot 3-over par (73) to finish tied for 10th-place. Sophomore Ryan Books shot 215 (+5) to tie for 25th and earn his first career top-25 finish.
