On Monday, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott reprimanded officials assigned to Saturday's Arizona State-Wisconsin game in Tempe for their handling of the final play. Confusion surrounded the Badgers' attempt to center the ball for a potential game-winning field goal in the last 18 seconds of the game, resulting in the clock running out before the kick could be attempted.

On Tuesday, Pac-12 Coordinator of Football Officiating Tony Corrente expanded on the reprimand, characterizing officials' response to the frantic final few seconds as "poor."
