Cal freshman libero Maddy Kerr earned her first Pac-12 freshman of the week honor after a thrilling five-set upset over Oregon last weekend in which she had a school-record 33 digs. What explains the outburst? "The overall energy of the match," Kerr tells Pac-12 Networks' Sarah Kezele. 

Kerr also describes playing one-on-one basketball in her dad's NBA jersey; she is the duaghter of former Chicago Bull (and Arizona Wildcat) Steve Kerr. See her and the Bears in action vs. USC on Friday and vs. UCLA on Sunday. Both matches will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.
