Will Sutton recorded his first career interception Saturday in a play that pretty much sealed the Sun Devils' 20-19 win against Utah on Satuday, but there's a chance the big defensive lineman still doesn't know what it's like to pick off a pass. Apparently, he didn't even know he caught the ball until he looked at his hands. Must be soft for a 310-pound man.

Arizona

Neutral site, shmeutral site. Sean Miller says it's all about playing true road games as his Arizona hoops team visits San Diego State. On the football side, running back Ka'Deem Carey was named a Doak Walker Award semifinalist.

Oregon

Guard Joseph Young scored 36 points for the Oregon Ducks in a 107-83 win against Western Carolina Wednesday night, and he only needed 12 field goal attempts to do it. His other 15 points came from the foul stripe, and CBS Sports' Jeff Borzello thinks the Ducks could be a serious threat in the Pac-12.

Oregon State

Craig Robinson will teach you everything you need to know about financial trading. Such a metaphor and message was given to his players and worked well enough to motivate his Beavers to a 79-73 victory against Portland on Wednesday. Oregon State now eyes a crucial non-conference game Sunday against Maryland.

USC

Trojans football coach Ed Orgeron personally addressed handwritten notes to each of the USC marching band's members. How do we know this isn't a gimmick? Just read the notes in Orgeron's voice. Even the handwriting breathes of their authenticity. Also, Trojans center Cyrus Hobbi turned a traumatic performance into a 15-minute piece for his drama class.

UCLA

Bruins receiver Darius Bell came to UCLA as a quarterback, and his last memory under center wasn't a good one. Against Arizona on Saturday, coach Jim Mora gave Bell a chance to wash away the 3-year-old memory by playing the senior at quarterback for a snap against the Wildcats.

Washington

To nobody's surprise, Huskies running back Bishop Sankey is a Doak Walker Award semifinalist. Also at Washington, the women's volleyball team moved to 22-1 on the season and increased its winning streak to 12 games after a sweep of UCLA Wednesday night.

Washington State

Mike Leach's Cougars are aware that their next opponent, the Arizona Wildcats, have evolved since the first game of the season, so there's no reason they don't expect Rich Rodriguez's team to pull out some new tricks this Saturday.

Utah

A huge boost for the Utes could come in the form of tight end Jake Murphy, who could return against Oregon this weekend after sitting out while recovering from wrist surgery. Murphy has 10 catches for 179 this season and was a primary target for the Utes before he went down. And while we know Utah is tired of playing any moral victory card, coach Kyle Whittingham is calling the defensive performance that last week held ASU to 20 points "miraculous."

Stanford

Is Tyler Gaffney happy he decided to leave baseball's minor leagues to return to Stanford? Probably. It's paying off, and he's one of 10 Doak Walker Award semifinalists.

California

The Golden Bears' men's soccer team fell 2-1 and in heartbreaking fashion to Stanford in the 92nd minute on Wednesday. They'll look to the postseason with the NCAA tournament matchups announced Monday but enter the postseason on a slide.

Colorado

Colorado football players want to stay away from using the words "losing streak" if they hope to end their losing streak.
