Stanford

ESPN's Ted Miller expected Stanford's Rose Bowl game against Michigan State to be a “barroom donnybrook” and, to a degree, it was. The Spartans outplayed the Cardinal at their own game, then took to the locker room to do something more appropriate for a dance floor at a club – they danced to Rich Homie Quan's “Type of Way” with Rich Homie Quan.

California

Former Cal coach Jeff Tedford appears to be the leading candidate to join head coach Lovie Smith and the new staff of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tedford would become the Bucs' offensive coordinator.

Oregon State

Oregon State prematurely lifted a suspension on forward Eric Moreland, who will be available for coach Craig Robinson on Thursday as the Beavers face the Colorado Buffaloes.

Arizona State

We linked up a story about ASU's Shaquielle McKissic making a difference on the court a few days ago. The Seattle Times' Percy Allen wrote about what happened off the court that has shaped McKissic.

Arizona

There are five things the Arizona Wildcats must do to win the Pac-12 regular season.

Utah

Transition defense is the thing to watch for the Utah Utes as they host the No. 10 Oregon Ducks Thursday night.

UCLA

The last time UCLA went to the Sun Bowl, the following season became a disappointment. Jim Mora doesn't want that to happen again – it's about continuing to build the culture.

Colorado

Here's a question: How do you get better by losing the best? The addition by subtraction theory doesn't make sense for the Colorado basketball team, which lost its leading rebounder, Andre Roberson, to the NBA, yet is an even better rebounding team this season.

Washington

Washington coach Lorenzo Romar isn't ready to call the Arizona road trip the toughest in Pac-12 hoops, but right now it just might be the leading candidate.

Oregon

Oregon went undefeated in the non-conference season, but it remains to be seen if Dana Altman's Ducks can crank it up another notch.

Washington State

USC

Connor Letourneau of OregonLive.com breaks down the Pac-12's contenders and pretenders, and though USC falls in the latter category, Byron Wesley and J.T. Terrell could help the Trojans surprise in the first year under Andy Enfield.
