Pac-12 Networks to televise 10 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament games

Former Stanford All-American and current WNBA star Nneka Ogwumike to make broadcasting debut

 ‘Pac-12 Sports Report: Women’s Basketball Selection Special’ Debuts Monday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. PT

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., February 25, 2013 – With the Pac-12 Conference women’s basketball season coming to a close, Pac-12 Networks will be bringing fans comprehensive coverage of the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament along with additional original programming in preparation for the NCAA tournament.  

This is the second year every women’s tournament game will be nationally televised. Postseason action begins Thursday, March 6 at 12:00 p.m. PT at Key Arena in Seattle, WA. The bracket and game times will be announced after all conference games have concluded.

Pac-12 Networks has enlisted Anne Marie Anderson and Tammy Blackburn, Krista Blunk and Mary Murphy to rotate broadcasting duties while Jill Savage will be the sideline reporter throughout the tournament. Host Ashley Adamson and analysts Ros Gold-Onwude and Ann Schatz will contribute pre, half and postgame analysis from Pac-12 Networks’ San Francisco studios surrounding the first round and quarterfinal games. Former Stanford All-American and current WNBA star Nneka Ogwumike will make her broadcasting debut joining Adamson and Gold-Onwude in the studios during the semifinals.

In addition to the live action, Pac-12 Networks offers fans original women’s basketball content heading into the postseason. Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Selection Show will air Monday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. PT. This one-hour selection show, featuring host Ashley Adamson alongside analysts Ros Gold-Onwude and Mary Murphy, will review the NCAA Tournament selections and analyze how each of the Pac-12 teams match up in the 2014 Women’s NCAA tournament.
