Spring football reclaims Saturdays on Pac-12 Networks beginning April 12

All 12 spring games from around the Conference to be televised live over four weeks beginning Saturday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m. PT

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (April 7, 2014) – March Madness is over and Pac-12 football is taking back Saturdays on Pac-12 Networks for the next four weeks with complete coverage of the 2014 spring football season, including live spring games and original programming featuring interviews with players, coaches and special guests.

Spring practices have already begun on all 12 campuses and for the second straight year, all Pac-12 spring games will be televised live beginning Saturday, April 12 with Colorado at 11:00 a.m. PT, followed by both Arizona and Stanford spring games at 1:00 p.m. PT.

Saturday, April 19 features four more games, starting in the desert with Arizona State at 11:00 a.m., followed by Utah at Noon. New head coach Chris Petersen and the Washington Huskies take the field at 1:00 p.m., while the Steve Sarkisian era at USC kicks off from the Coliseum at 3:00 p.m. PT.

The following Saturday, April 26, coverage continues with a trio of games – California, Washington State and UCLA – beginning at 11:00 a.m. PT. The final Saturday of games centers around Civil War rivals Oregon and Oregon State with the Ducks spring game airing at 11:00 a.m. PT, followed by the Beavers intersquad battle at 1:00 p.m. PT.

Each spring game telecast will feature a play-by-play voice, analyst and sideline reporter on-site to call the action, plus potential appearances by special guests and alumni. Studio coverage from San Francisco also complements every Spring Football Saturday with host Mike Yam joined by a pair of analysts including Rick Neuheisel, Curtis Conway, Jake Plummer, Nick Aliotti on a rotating basis.

On April 12 and April 19, the studio teams will anchor Spring Football Live, shuttling select regional network viewers between spring games occurring simultaneously. While every Saturday, the studio crew will wrap up all the day’s action with highlights and analysis on Pac-12 Football Weekly: Spring Report. Continuous spring football coverage can also be found Wednesdays during the week on standard editions of Pac-12 Football Weekly.
