Conference's dominant array of quarterbacks on full display during first three weeks of the season

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (May 29, 2014) – The countdown to the 2014 college football season has begun and Pac-12 Networks is excited to bring fans 13 live football games in the first three weeks of the season featuring 10 of the 12 Conference squads and some of the nation’s best quarterbacks.

With 13 live contests over a three-week span, the Networks will televise more Pac-12 football action than ESPN and FOX combined. The telecast slate also showcases home openers for nine schools: Utah, Arizona State, Stanford, Oregon State, Oregon, Washington, California, UCLA and Washington State (Pullman opener).

“There is an incredible amount of anticipation surrounding Pac-12 football this fall and we’re thrilled to be able to bring fans closer to their favorite teams and players with all of our games and in depth coverage throughout the season,” said Pac-12 Networks President Lydia Murphy-Stephans. “With all of the great coaches and talented quarterbacks returning this season, the race for the Pac-12 Championship will most definitely come down to the wire and we look forward to having it all unfold on the Pac-12 Networks."

In addition to the sheer volume of games, Pac-12 Networks’ game schedule displays why this is the year of the quarterback in the Pac-12 with a handful of Heisman hopeful QBs – Kevin Hogan (Stanford), Marcus Mariota (Oregon), Sean Mannion (Oregon State), Taylor Kelly (Arizona State), Connor Halliday (Washington State) and Brett Hundley (UCLA) – serving as the main attraction in eight of the 13 matchups.
