Pac-12 expands and extends partnership with New York Life

Iconic Brand Becomes Presenting Sponsor of Pac-12 Basketball Tournaments and Official Sponsor of Pac-12 Olympic Sports Championship Events

SAN FRANCISCO (October 22, 2014) – The Pac-12 Conference and New York Life have announced today an expansion and extension of their relationship for three more years, making New York Life the presenting sponsor of both the Pac-12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, as well as an official sponsor of the 10 Pac-12 Championship Events in Olympic sports.  In addition, Pac-12 Networks will highlight a series of features on Pac-12.com to support New York Life’s ‘Keep Good Going’ campaign, designed to celebrate the good in people’s lives. 

As presenting sponsor of the two basketball tournaments, New York Life will receive television tune-in promotions throughout the tournaments on Pac-12 Networks and ESPN or FOX Sports 1, on-court and in-arena branding, plus in-game promotional tie-ins, a full slate of media inventory and digital assets, and premium tickets and VIP hospitality.  New York Life will have on-site signage and activation opportunities at the Pac-12’s 10 Olympic sports championships.  In addition to its support of Pac-12 Conference events, New York Life will become the presenting sponsor of the Pac-12 Networks’ Men’s Basketball Pregame Show throughout the season.

The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will be played March 5-8, 2015 at KeyArena in Seattle, while the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be played March 11-14, 2015, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  The 10 Olympic sports championships include: Men’s and Women’s Cross Country (October 31), Women’s Swimming and Diving (February 25-28), Wrestling (March 1), Men’s Swimming and Diving (March 4-7), Women’s Gymnastics (March 21), Men’s and Women’s Tennis (April 22-26), Women’s Golf (April 20-22), Men’s Golf (April 27-29), Track and Field (May 9-10, 16-17) and Rowing (May 17).  The Pac-12 Conference has won nation-leading 469 NCAA titles and consistently produces more Olympians and more Olympic medals than any collegiate conference in the country.
