Pac-12 uniform watch: UCLA honors vets with stars and stripes helmets

UCLA honors United States veterans with helmets of stars and stripes, Colorado gets traditional after watching a documentary about its past and more in this week's Pac-12 football fashion report.

UCLA

Getting a jump-start on Veterans Day, the Bruins will wear an alternate helmet with a stars and stripes UCLA logo. On the road in Corvallis, Ore., they pair it with a white jersey and a military-inspired, camouflage base layer.

Colorado

There's a story behind the Buffs going to a traditional uniform of gold helmets, black jerseys and gold pants against Stanford. The team initially had another combination planned but players decided to tip their hats to CU's past after viewing the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary "The Gospel according to Mac." 

Oregon

Puddles the duck will make his presence known on the helmets and the gloves of Oregon players this week. The Ducks will wear white helmets with their mascot logo in green, along with white pants and green jerseys.

Stanford

The Cardinal went with an all-white look against Colorado.

Oregon State

The Beavers will suit up in an orange jersey along with white helmets and pants as they host UCLA.

Washington State

Washington State welcomes Arizona State to the Palouse wearing crimson helmets topping off anthracite jerseys and pants.

Arizona State

The Sun Devils will don gold helmets, white jerseys, and gold pants as they face the Cougars in Pullman, Wash.

Arizona

Arizona will play in navy blue lids, blue pants, and white jerseys against USC at The Coliseum.

Utah

It's a whiteout for the Utes, who play at Washington this Saturday.

California

Sonny Dykes announced his team is putting together a look of white threads against Oregon. Cal will also wear matte blue tops.
