Exactly one week after he was ruled ineligible by the NCAA, Arizona junior guard Allonzo Trier has been cleared to play without any further restrictions. A statement from Arizona Athletics on Thursday afternoon reads:

We just received word that Allonzo Trier has been cleared for participation and will play in tonight's game versus Stanford. We appreciate the NCAA granting this appeal and their understanding of this unique situation.

On Feb. 22, Arizona Athletics issued a statement saying it had received word from the NCAA that Trier was ineligible for, "the reappearance of a trace amount of a banned substance." Trier missed two Arizona games as a result.
