Utah

Things appear to be clearer in the division races after a wacky football weekend, and the Pac-12 South looks ripe for Utah’s taking, writes Kurt Kragthorpe. That 0-2 start to league play seems like forever ago as the Utes close in on what would be their first Pac-12 South title if it happens. Nice dub for the Utes Friday in the Rose Bowl.

Washington State

Meanwhile, Washington State is in command of the Pac-12 North after beating Stanford, notes Theo Lawson. The Cougs, up to No. 10 in the AP poll, are likely the Pac-12’s only shot at a College Football Playoff berth.

Oregon State

What. A. Win. Oregon State erased a four-touchdown deficit to defeat Colorado 41-34 in overtime, and Nick Daschel gives us 13 takeaways form the Beavers’ win over the Buffs. And how about this Isaiah Hodgins touchdown catch? Incredible.

Colorado

On the other sidelines, a “fragile” Colorado football will lean on its brotherhood during the tough times of this three-game losing skid, notes Brian Howell.

Arizona State

Yoooo…. Did you see N’Keal Harry’s one-handed catch against USC on Saturday? This was incredible. The Sun Devils won a huge game in the Coliseum to get back to .500 in large thanks to Harry (four catches, 95 yards and two touchdowns – one receiving, another on a 92-yard punt return). USC

USC quarterback JT Daniels will start at Oregon State if he’s healthy, head coach Clay Helton said Sunday. Filling in for the injured Daniels (has not cleared concussion protocol), Jack Sears was 20 of 28 for 235 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Arizona

Impressive performance Saturday night from the Wildcats, and you can get Michael Lev’s five takeaways from Arizona’s 44-15 win over Oregon by clicking on the preceding link.

Oregon

You knew you could get ready for a hot take after the big loss in Tucson, so fire the cannons– John Canzano is of the opinion that Oregon is “wasting Justin Herbert’s talent.”

California

Huge win for the Golden Bears Saturday night in Berkeley, knocking off then-No. 15 Washington 12-10, and Rusty Simmons writes that Cal’s offensive line paved the way to victory with the offense being able to milk the clock late in the fourth quarter.

Washington

Following the disappointing loss for the Huskies, The Seattle Times columnist Larry Stone believes that Chris Petersen doesn’t have his “magic touch” this year.

Stanford

The Cardinal lost to the Cougs in football, but the women's soccer team earned a draw in Pullman in large thanks to this incredible goal from Catarina Macario. WOW. The level of skill it takes to do this is off the charts.

UCLA

No need to relive the ugly loss to Utah on the gridiron, so we’ll let you know that freshmen Moses Brown stood out in UCLA men’s basketball’s exhibition victory over NYIT. The 7-foot-2 freshman had 20 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in the 125-73 triumph.
