SAN FRANCISCO – As the 2018-19 season nears, Pac-12 Networks today announced its programming and coverage plans surrounding men’s and women’s basketball, as the networks plan for its most coverage yet of both sports. The regular season begins tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 6, with “Tip-off Tuesday” as six of seven men’s games  air across Pac-12 Networks and will be available to all fans via the Pac-12 Now app (for iOS and Android).  

 

Seasons for both sports will again culminate with Conference tournaments with both men’s and women’s this year taking place in Las Vegas. Pac-12 Networks will again feature eight of 11 games for the men’s tournament and 10 of 11 for the women’s tournament. New this season, the networks will take its show on the road for both events, providing live on-site pre and postgame coverage of both tournaments from Las Vegas.

 

 

Pre & Postgame Coverage – As in past years, Pac-12 Networks is set to provide extensive pre and postgame coverage around its 149 men’s basketball games with the “Pac-12 Basketball Pregame Show,” presented by New York Life, “Pac-12 Gamebreak” and “Pac-12 Postgame Report.” 

 

“Inside Pac-12 Basketball” – Similar to Pac-12 Networks’ signature show for Pac-12 football analysis, “Inside Pac-12 Basketball,” which premiered last month with coverage of men’s and women’s basketball media days, will also provide several other special presentations including both men’s and women’s all-conference award announcements, both men’s and women’s NCAA tournament selections and the 2019 NBA Draft.

 

• In addition, Pac-12 Networks will debut an “Inside Pac-12 Basketball” weekly podcast once Conference play begins in January. 

 

 

“Pac-12 Playlist” – Also new this season, having launched prior to the 2018-19 Fall sports schedule, “Pac-12 Playlist” will continue to provide the latest news and coverage in a short-form fashion from around all Pac-12 sports.

 

“Our Stories,” presented by Opus Bank – Pac-12 Networks' home for its most-compelling storytelling across all Pac-12 Sports, “Our Stories,” presented by Opus Bank, will include multiple episodes during men’s and women’s basketball seasons as well as content across Pac-12 Networks digital platforms. 

 

 

The return of Pac-12 men’s basketball takes place tomorrow across Pac-12 Networks with “Tip-off Tuesday” featuring six of seven Pac-12 games that day.

 

National coverage on Pac-12 Network for “Tip-off Tuesday” begins with the “Pac-12 Basketball Pregame Show,” presented by New York Life, at 5:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. MT as host Mike Yam and analyst Matt Muehlebach preview the day’s slate. Following the half-hour pregame show on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Now will feature a doubleheader with:
