Oregon State

The honors keep rolling in, as Oregon State running back Jermar Jefferson was named an ESPN Freshman All-American (first team, no less). He’s also been named a first-team Freshman All-American by The Athletic and 247Sports.

UCLA

I hope you have a subscription to The Athletic, because this Seth Davis profile on UCLA men’s basketball forward Jalen Hill is certainly worth your while. It goes over his arrest in China for shoplifting and discusses his issues with anxiety attacks. Good read here.

Washington

All Dawgs in the trenches – Washington offensive tackle Kaleb McGary and defensive lineman Greg Gaines won the Morris Trophy, which is given annually to the most outstanding offensive and defensive linemen in the conference, as voted on by the opposing starting offensive and defensive linemen in the league (offensive linemen vote for best defensive lineman and vice-versa).

Washington State

CougCenter takes a look at the gifts the Washington State football players will get for playing in the Alamo Bowl. I’ll take that $425 Amazon gift card, thank you very much.

Utah

Kurt Kragthorpe writes that the Utah men’s basketball team could learn a thing or two from the Utah women’s basketball team when it comes to sharing the rock. Men’s head coach Larry Krystkowiak and women’s head coach Lynne Roberts recently held a joint press conference.

Colorado

Nice win for the Buffs on Tuesday, as Colorado men’s basketball beat New Mexico 78-75 at The Pit after erasing a 17-point deficit. Pat Rooney has the game story in the preceding link.

Oregon

James Crepea gives us this Oregon-San Diego men’s basketball game preview. Beating the Toreros would be a sizable non-conference triumph if the Ducks can get it done Wednesday night (7 p.m. PT, Pac-12 Networks).

Arizona

Bruce Pascoe takes a look at how the rest of Arizona men’s basketball’s non-conference schedule could affect the Wildcats’ NCAA Tournament fate. It hasn’t been a great non-conference year for the Pac-12 to say the least, so wins over Baylor, Montana and UC Davis to wrap up the out-of-league slate are important for the Wildcats.

Stanford

Get ready for Stanford women’s volleyball’s Final Four match Thursday by reading the Stanford-BYU match notes. The top-seeded Cardinal lost only one match this year, and it was to these BYU Cougars in a five-setter on Aug. 31 in Provo.

USC

USC beach volleyball announced its Class of 2019 signees on Wednesday, welcoming in four new Trojans into the fold (Kyla Doig, Harper Hallgren, Audrey Nourse and Nicole Nourse).

Arizona State

Check out this Pac-12 Networks preview of the Las Vegas Bowl featuring Arizona State and Fresno State. Can the Sun Devils make Herm Edwards 8-5 in his first season at the helm?

California

California Golden Blogs examines the Cal men’s basketball team a quarter of the way through the season. While the record doesn’t look better, the stats show improvement over last season’s squad.
