Colorado

Former Colorado guard Spencer Dinwiddie scored a career-high 39 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 127-124 win over the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday night, doing so on just 18 shots (11-18 FG, 4-6 3FG, 13-14 FT). And to think, this guy was out of the league to start the 2016-17 season…

Arizona

Sweet – Former Wildcat Allonzo Trier has reportedly agreed to a 2-year, $7 million deal with the New York Knicks, Bruce Pascoe reports, citing ESPN. Trier, who went undrafted in June, was on a two-way contract with the Knicks and their G League affiliate in Westchester. In 27 games, Trier has averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists on 47 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent from 3-point territory.

UCLA

Thuc Nhi Nguyen reports that UCLA offensive lineman Justin Murphy will transfer. Murphy was recently granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.

Arizona State

Daniel Rapaport of Sports Illustrated writes that Herm Edwards proved his doubters wrong in his first year as Arizona State head coach. Oregon

Check out the Pac-12 Networks recap of Oregon’s 65-55 win over San Diego. Good win over a good team for the Ducks, as the Toreros were a top-50 NET ranking team coming into this one.

USC

Ian Boyd of SB Nation writes that USC hiring Kliff Kingsbury as offensive coordinator “changes the Trojans’ whole equation.” Definitely a bigtime hire for USC.

Washington

Percy Allen gives us a Washington-Virginia Tech men’s basketball game preview. The Huskies and Hokies will tip off Saturday at 4 p.m. PT from Atlantic City. Washington – and the Pac-12 – could use a big non-conference win, as the Hokies are the No. 13 team in the nation.

Utah

Kurt Kragthorpe features Utah women’s basketball’s Sarah Porter, a grad transfer from UC Santa Barbara. A good look into Porter’s desire to fight social injustices and have an impact in the community.
