Five of the nation’s 12 remaining undefeated teams are in the Pac-12 with ARIZONA tying for the nation’s lead with 10 victories. The Wildcats also boast the nation’s longest active win streak at 16 games in a row, dating back to last year’s WNIT title run ... Heading into the final games of the non-conference slate, every Pac-12 team has a winning record with teams combining for the best non-conference winning percentage of any league in the country at 83.9 percent (as of Dec. 17) ... STANFORD claims the top spot in the Associated Press and USA Today/WBCA Coaches poll for the third-consecutive week, as a Pac-12 team has been picked No. 1 every week so far this season. OREGON is No. 3/3 in both polls and OREGON STATE comes in at No. 4/4. UCLA is No. 10 in the polls and ARIZONA is No. 18/19 ... Another chapter of one of the biggest rivalries in women’s basketball will be written when Tennessee visits the Cardinal on Wednesday, Dec. 18 on Pac-12 Networks. Haley Jones looks to lead the Cardinal in that game after being named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week ... Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for her 21 point, 12 rebound and seven assist road effort last week at Long Beach State. On Monday night, she recorded her 20th-career triple-double. No other men’s or women’s basketball player in NCAA history has more than 12 in a career. Teammate Ruthy Hebard needs just 22 points to become the second student-athlete this season to reach the 2,000-career point milestone after Ionescu. Hebard is also on the verge of becoming the 12th student-athlete in Pac-12 history with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds ... The Bruins travel for a top-10 matchup at #12/14 Indiana at the end of the week ... WASHINGTON STATE head coach Kamie Ethridge needs just two wins to get to career No. 100. The Cougs head East for the Miami Holiday Classic in Coral Gables, Fla.

STIFLING DEFENSE: Arizona leads the nation limiting opponents to a paltry 28.5 percent field goal shooting and four Pac-12 teams in total are ranked in the top 15 in the category. The Wildcats also rank second in scoring defense, limiting opponents to 43.8 points per game after holding all but one opponent to 50 points or fewer. Seven Pac-12 teams rank in the top 45 in the country in scoring defense: 2. Arizona; 8. Washington; 22. UCLA; 25. Oregon State; 26. Arizona State; 41. Colorado; 44. Oregon.

Road to New Orleans: Teams across the country will be focused on getting to New Orleans this season, the site of the 2020 NCAA Women’s Final Four on April 3 and 5. To get to New Orleans, teams will have to go through regional sites in Greenville, S.C., Fort Wayne, Ind., Portland, Ore., and Dallas, Texas. Oregon State hosts the Portland Regional for the second year in a row from March 27-March 30, 2020, with specific dates to be announced. The first and second round of the tournament will take place on 16 campus sites with the top-16 seeds hosting, March 19-22, 2020.. The top 64 teams will learn their fates in the broadcast of the annual selection show on Monday, March 16, 2020.
