CU's Wright IV, UW's Stewart collect Pac-12 Men's Basketball weekly honors

COLORADO's McKinley Wright IV earned his second career Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week, while WASHINGTON's Isaiah Stewart was tabbed Freshman of the Week for the third consecutive week as voted on by media who cover the league.

• The Naismith Trophy and Wooden, Robertson and Cousy Awards candidate averaged a near triple-double of 17.5 points on 55 percent shooting (12-22), 9.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds as Colorado was among eight Conference teams to split opening week, highlighted by an upset of then No. 4 Oregon.
• Led CU with 21 points, eight assists and five rebounds in Thursday's 74-65 upset of the Ducks in a matchup of teams picked first and second in the Pac-12 preseason media poll.
• Recorded his third double-double of the season and eighth of his career with 14 points and 10 assists against Oregon State. Flirted with triple-double with seven rebounds.
• Became the second player in Colorado history to reach 1,000 points, 400 assists and 400 rebounds in a career against Beavers.
• Was also voted Pac-12 Player of the Week on Jan. 8, 2018.

• The Wooden Award, Naismith Trophy and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year candidate averaged a double-double of 21.0 points and 10.5 rebounds while adding 3.5 blocks and shooting 50 percent from the field (12-24) and 86 percent at the foul line (18-21) in guiding Washington to a Conference-opening split.
• Is the first to win three consecutive Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors in the award's debut season, and is just the fourth to claim weekly honors in three straight weeks in league awards history (Brandon Roy, WASH, 2005-06; Eddie House, ASU, 1999-00; Gary Payton, OSU, 1987-88/1988-89).
• Paced Huskies with 24-point, 11-rebound double-double along with five blocks against UCLA. Went career-best 12-of-14 from the foul line.
• Registered league-leading eighth double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in 72-40 rout of USC.
• Tied for the most double-doubles among NCAA Division I freshmen (Vernon Carey, Duke).
