#PAC12HOOPS STARTING FIVE:
1/9/20 - With wins by ARIZONA STATE and CALIFORNIA that night, every Pac-12 program had a Conference victory by Thursday, Jan. 9, the earliest every team had recorded a league win since expanding to the Pac-10 and an 18-game league schedule in 1978-79. The previous earliest was Jan. 10, 2010.

4 x NET 25 - As of Jan. 14, the Pac-12 boasts four teams ranked inside the top 25 - STANFORD, OREGON, ARIZONA, COLORADO - of the NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) - tied for the most in the nation (Big Ten).
• The Pac-12 also has six top-50 and nine top-75 NET teams, both the second-most nationally.
• Based on current NET rankings, Pac-12 programs have a combined 98 Quadrant 1 and 41 Quadrant 2 opportunities remaining in the regular season.

12 x .500+ - As of Jan. 14, the Pac-12 is 1-of-4 conferences in the country to have all of its members with .500-or-better overall records (ACC, Big East, SEC).
• Also as of Jan. 14, the Pac-12 is 1-of-5 conferences nationally to have at least nine teams with double-digit victories (A-10, ACC, Big East, Big Ten).

14-2/3-0 - STANFORD continues to enjoy its best start in 16 seasons as the Cardinal’s 14-2 overall record and 3-0 league mark equal the starts from the record setting 2003-04 campaign (30-2/17-1).
• Stanford is in sole possession of first-place in the league standings for the first time since closing 2003-04 as regular-season league champions.

21 > 2,000 - OREGON STATE senior and Wooden Award Midseason Watch List member Tres Tinkle (1,979) enters the week 21 points shy of becoming just the 16th member of the Conference’s 2,000 career points list.
• Tinkle is also 77th on the Conference’s career rebounds list (779) and is on pace to become only the fifth member of the league’s 2,000-point, 900-rebound club (Lew Alcindor-UCLA, Don MacLean-UCLA, Adam Keefe-STAN, Chris Welp-WASH).

PAC-12 TIPOFF:
1PP: OREGON senior and Wooden Award Midseason Watch List member Payton Pritchard is 12 assists and eight rebounds shy of becoming the first player in Conference history with 1,500 points, 600 assists and 500 rebounds in a career.
• Pritchard is the only player in the country averaging at least 19 points (19.2 ppg) on 45 percent  (49% FG) shooting along with five assists (5.9 apg) and four rebounds (4.5 rpg).

A TROJAN ODYSSEY: USC improved to 4-1 in true road games this season with its rivalry victory at UCLA. The Trojans are 1-of-4 major conference teams to have at least four true road victories this season (Duke, DePaul, Georgia Tech) having won games at Nevada, TCU, Washington State and UCLA.
• USC is ranked in the top 30 in results-based metrics KPI (29) and ESPN Strength of Record (25) which appear on NCAA Team Sheets.

SUP BRO?: With OREGON STATE junior Ethan Thompson (1,009) surpassing the 1,000 career point plateau last week, the Thompsons (along with 2019 OSU graduate Stephen Thompson Jr. - 1,767) became the fourth brother duo in league history to both reach 1,000 career points while playing at Conference programs, and only the second tandem to accomplish the feat at one school (Ed & Charles O’Bannon, UCLA; Josh Shipp, UCLA & Joe Shipp, CAL; Jordan Mathews, CAL & Jonah Mathews, USC).

NON-CONFERENCE REBOUND: The Pac-12 enjoyed one of its best non-conference seasons in recent history in 2019-20.
• .739 Division I non-conference win percentage, best for the league since 2015-16.
• Seven teams with 10+ non-conference wins, tied for the most nationally (Big East).
• 11-8 non-conference record (.579) in true road games, the best mark by percentage among major conferences.

TRACKING LEAGUE PLAY: Through 20 league games as of Jan. 14, the average scoring margin is 12.8 points.
• 11 games have been decided by single digits
• 3 games has been decided by one possession (3 pts. or less)
