UCLA’s Ross, Cal’s Watterson and DeSouza secure the Pac-12 gymnasts of the week awards

GYMNAST OF THE WEEK: Kyla Ross, Sr., UCLA (Aliso Viejo, Calif.)
• 
Won the all-around with a score of 39.750, assisting her team to a tri-meet road victory at BYU.
• Took first place in the vault (9.875), beam (9.975) and bars (10).
• Tied for the second-place spot on floor (9.9).
• Scored her NCAA record 11th career 10.0 on bars.

SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK: Emi Watterson, Jr., California (Brisbane, Australia)
• 
Earned first-place finishes on both bars (9.975) and beam (9.875).
• Posted career-high scores in both of her events.
• Helped her team win their rivalry meet against Stanford with 197.325 points.  

FRESHMAN/NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK: Nevaeh DeSouza, Fr., California (Fairfield, Calif.)
Took third place in the all-around with a score of 39.350 in Cal’s win over Stanford.
• Earned first place on beam (9.875).
• Set career-high scores on vault (9.8), beam (9.875) and floor (9.85).
