Pac-12 announces tennis players of the week

Pac-12 Men’s Tennis Player of the Week: Jack Davis, Jr., Washington (Vancouver, B.C.)
• Posted a perfect 4-0 record last week in helping Washington to a three-match win streak, defeating UC Santa Barbara (4-3), Grand Canyon (7-0) and Cal Poly (5-2). 
• Recorded an impressive win over ITA Singles No. 8 ranked Joseph Guillin of UC Santa Barbara (6-3, 6-3).
• The Huskies' singles No. 1 also topped Valentin Lang of GCU (6-3, 6-2) and Antoine Noel of Cal Poly (6-3, 6-2), and also secured a No. 1 doubles victory versus the Mustangs' Joe Leather and Roman Shenkiryk (6-2).
• The junior has an 11-1 record in singles play this season, including a 5-1 mark in the spring, and is 9-2 at No. 1 doubles with a 3-1 record in duals.
• Davis earns his first player of the week award, the 15th all-time for the Huskies

Pac-12 Women’s Tennis Player of the Week: Angela Kulikov, Sr., USC (Sun Valley, Calif.)
• Kulikov went undefeated at the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles at the ITA Kickoff Weekend as USC split the event (1-1), becoming the first team to defeat Kentucky this season (4-3).
• In singles, the 60th-ranked senior kicked off the season with a win over Kentucky’s Akvile Paražinskaitė (6-3, 6-4) and No. 24 Brianna Shvets of Princeton (6-2, 6-2).
• Kulikov and her partner freshman Eryn Cayetano defeated Princeton's No. 19 ranked Grace Joyce and Daria Frayman in doubles action, and were on track to beat Kentucky's No. 21 Lesedi Jacobs and Paražinskaitė with a 5-3 lead, but the doubles point was already clinched.
• She earns her third-career weekly honor and USC's 41st award all-time
