SAN FRANCISCO - Utah travels to Washington for a showdown of undefeated teams for a chance at the Conference title

• Washington and ASU end in a bang. 
• Utah and UCLA go the distance in the heated battle in LA.
• Stanford welcomes the consistent Sundevils onto the farm this weekend. 

PAC-12 TEAM NOTES

ARIZONA - GymCats posted a final score of 196.150, tying their season-high, to take down No. 25 Stanford who earned a final score of 195.225 on Sunday afternoon. Christina Berg earned a 9.925 to earn the first-place crown. Freshman Sirena Linton made her beam debut and posted a 9.875 to tie for first place with Kennedi Davis, who tied her career-high. Arizona will travel to the Bay Area to compete against California on Sunday March 1 at 3 p.m.

ARIZONA STATE -  Arizona State gymnastics scored a 196.875, its best score since 2006, to tie with No. 13 Washington in the desert on Sunday.  Cairo Leonard-Baker's 9.950 on bars is the best score by any ASU gymnast this season in any event. This was the first tie for the SunDevils since 2018. The SunDevils travel to the Bay Area for a battle on Monday with Stanford.

CALIFORNIA -   The No. 10 Golden Bears topped the Beavers, 197.125-196.600, Saturday afternoon at Haas Pavilion. The Golden Bears swept every event on the afternoon. Maya Bordas led the way with a trio of titles on floor, on bars and in the all-around. Nevah DeSouza took home the vault title with a career-best 9.925. Emi Watterson rounded out the Golden Bears rout by taking the beam title with a career-best 9.90.

OREGON STATE - The No. 21 Beavers notched its best road mark of the season scoring 196.600 but fell at No. 10 California Saturday afternoon. The Beavers led by Madi Degan's career-highs on vault (9.925), a season-best on floor exercise (9.900) and tied her season-high on the balance beam (9.900). OSU returns to Corvallis to finish their regular season with a three match home stand.

STANFORD - The Cardinals won two individual titles on the evening. Senior Kyla Bryant won the vault with a career tying 9.875 and the floor with a 9.90. Taylor Lawson led the Cards on the Beam with a 9.850. Stanford's final home meet is scheduled for Monday, March 2, against Arizona State at 7 p.m.

UCLA - Senior Grace Glenn made NCAA history by becoming the first gymnast ever to record a leadoff perfect 10 on the balance beam. The Bruins recorded season-high team, vault, beam and floor marks. Kyla Ross continued her unbeaten all-around streak with her seventh title, scoring a season-high 39.825.  The Bruins will be back in action on Saturday at Oregon State. 

UTAH -  The Red Rocks went into Pauley Pavilion and edged the Bruins by the slimmest of margins in the 198-075- 198.025 victory. The freshman Abby Paulson scored the first 10.0 of the season for Utah and the first on beam since 2008. The beam win is Paulson's fourth beam title of the season and was critial in the victory. The Red Rocks travel to Seattle for a matchup against undefeated Washington for a chance at the conference title.

WASHINGTON - The GymDawgs put on a show against the SunDevils in Tempe. The GymDawgs earned the second-highest season score of 196.875 in the tie with the SunDevils. Meaghan Ruttan posted a career-high 9.850 on the floor. While the Senior Maya Washington walked away with the beam title and career-highs on the beam and matched career-high on the bars.
