SAN FRANCISCO - “Good Works Week” continues on a brand-new episode of “Pac-12 Playlist,” presented by New York Life, airing tonight at 7 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network. The theme of the week highlights the many good works performed by current and former Pac-12 student-athletes, with today’s episode shining a spotlight on Walton and Dr. Tom, who have gone above and beyond to help their fellow community members during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Michelle Tom, who played on the Arizona State women’s basketball team in the late 90s, is currently on the front lines treating COVID-19 patients at the Winslow Indian Health Care Center. Dr. Tom chats with host Ashley Adamson about how her Navajo roots helped prepare her to assist the Native American community during this pandemic. During the interview, Dr. Tom is also surprised by her former head coach Charli Turner-Thorne to relive the team’s infamous game against then-No. 7 Washington from 1999.

Current Pac-12 Networks analyst Bill Walton joins “Pac-12 Playlist,” presented by New York Life, to talk about his upcoming ‘Bike for Humanity’ event, which is a virtual, two-hour ride to benefit others during the Coronavirus crisis. Proceeds from the event, which takes place on April 25 from 9-11 a.m. PT, will benefit the health care workers and victims of COVID-19. For more information, please visit BikeForHumanity.com.

The full interview with Walton is featured in the most recent installment of the “Pac-12 Perspective” podcast, presented by Nike, available now wherever fans get their podcasts. This week on the podcast, current California baseball student-athlete Darren Baker, son of baseball great Dusty Baker, breaks it down with hosts Mike Yam and Adamson about what inspired him to donate 100 meals to Feeding America during the pandemic. Yam also sits down with former Oregon State pitcher Matthew Boyd to discuss his and his wife’s non-profit organization, ‘Kingdom Home,’ whose mission is to end child sex slavery through prevention in Africa. Boyd now pitches for the Detroit Tigers.
