“Pac-12 Campus Classics” from Washington State, California and Utah to air this weekend on Pac-12 Network
Washington State football classics to air tonight starting at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT
SAN FRANCISCO - “Pac-12 Campus Classics” continue this weekend, with university-selected favorites from Washington State, California and Utah all airing in condensed format on Pac-12 Network.
Washington State’s football marathon kicks off tonight, starting with the Apple Cup from 1992 in which future first overall NFL draft pick Drew Bledsoe led the Cougars to victory over then-No. 5 Washington. Fans can tune into this favorite at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network. Another top-five win airs at 9 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. MT, as the then-No. 16 Cougars topped then-No. 5 USC in 2017 behind a 32-yard field goal by Erik Powell with 1:40 left in the fourth quarter. Bears fans can tune into five California classics on Saturday, including the big football road win from 2007 in which Desean Jackson led the then-No. 6 Bears over then-No. 11 Oregon behind an 11-catch, 161-yard, two-touchdown performance. This encore will air at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network. At 7 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. MT, men’s hoops fans can relive Cal’s upset victory over then-No. 1 Arizona back from 2014, featuring Justin Cobbs’ game-winning jumper with one second left in regulation. On Sunday, Utah football classics wrap up the weekend with two encores from their 2008-09 undefeated season, starting with the comeback win over then-No. 11 TCU at 4 p.m PT / 5 p.m. MT, followed by the Sugar Bowl victory over then-No. 4 Alabama at 6 p.m PT / 7 p.m. MT, in which Brian Johnson threw for 336 yards and three scores.
