SAN FRANCISCO - Pac-12 Networks continues to bring fans exclusive insights and interviews from around the Conference of Champions, with a special installment of “Inside Pac-12 Football,” presented by GEICO, airing tonight at 7 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network.

Host Yogi Roth sits down with offensive coordinator Zak Hill and takes fans into a virtual team meeting with the Arizona State offense, in which they discuss the team’s offensive identity and the importance of staying motivated. They also watch film from past games, including the big upset victory over then-No. 6 Oregon from this past season. Hill shares how he met head coach Herm Edwards and what brought him to Arizona State, and the two talk about how they and the rest of the staff have adjusted their methods of instruction during the pandemic and what it’s like coaching virtually.

“Obviously with the virus, it’s made everyone rethink, regardless of what profession you’re in, how do you create a scenario where you can still teach,” said Edwards. “Zak Hill does a great job of really orchestrating and visually showing players the concepts of what we want to do. That being said, our staff does a nice job to really buy into what we call ‘virtual learning’… as you watch Zak Hill, he was installing parts of our offense, but also making them focus on the downs and situations that occur in football games.”

New episodes of the “Pac-12 Perspective” podcast, presented by Nike, featuring interviews with the Pac-12’s head football coaches are available now wherever fans get their podcasts. On Wednesday, Edwards, UCLA’s Chip Kelly and Oregon State’s Jonathan Smith chatted with Roth about how they’ve stayed connected with their teams during the pandemic. Today, Roth sits down with Oregon’s Mario Cristobal, Arizona’s Kevin Sumlin, and California’s Justin Wilcox to talk how each coach has maintained a team dynamic while sheltering in place, and also discuss different scenarios for the upcoming football season. Fans can tune into an extended interview with Hill on tomorrow’s podcast episode.
