SAN FRANCISCO - This week, Pac-12 Networks is bringing fans interviews from former student-athletes and current medical professionals from around the Conference of Champions, who are sharing their stories and offering resources as part of “Mental Health Week.” Tonight, host Mike Yam sits down with former Arizona State basketball standout Robbi Ryan as well as UCLA’s Dr. Michelle Craske during a brand-new episode of “Pac-12 Playlist,” presented by New York Life, airing at 7 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network.

Yam talks with Ryan about her own mental health and ways she has coped with her struggles. Ryan also shares how the Sun Devils staff became a support system, and offers advice on how to improve your own mental health while social distancing.

Dr. Craske, who is the Director of the Anxiety and Depression Research Center at UCLA, talks about how UCLA is helping the health needs of their students during the pandemic through the ‘STAND Program.’ Dr. Craske also discusses the importance of public figures, like former Bruin Kevin Love, opening up about their own experiences with mental health.

Also tonight in honor of Memorial Day, Arizona State’s Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson shares how the Chairs of Honor, which recognize POW/MIA troops and their families, became an important addition to Sun Devil Stadium.

Dr. Craske’s extended interview, in which she talks about the importance of both mental health awareness and resources, is available now on the “Pac-12 Perspective” podcast, presented by Nike, wherever fans get their podcasts.
