Video: Washington's Krista Vansant named Pac-12 offensive player of the week
Washington junior Krista Vansant is the Pac-12 offensive player of the week for the third time in her career after leading the Huskies to a road sweep of then-No. 14 Illinois and Loyola Chicago with a combined 26 kills and just one error over the two matches. She also racked up a career-high six services aces against Loyola Chicago, including four in a row.
The outside hitter's efforts helped keep Washington undefeated at 6-0 heading into the program's final week of non-conference play. Washington joins Utah and Washington State as the Pac-12's remaining unbeaten teams.
