Considered the pioneer of collegiate women’s basketball, Ann Meyers Drysdale was the first female athlete ever to earn a four-year scholarship to UCLA. Meyers Drysdale finished her collegiate career as the first four-time All-American in her sport. As an Olympian, Meyers Drysdale won a silver medal for the U.S. in 1976 and has since been inducted into the Naismith, FIBA and Women’s Basketball Halls of Fame. She currently serves as the vice president for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury. She is also a color analyst for the Phoenix Suns television broadcasts.
