UCLA is working to effectively sort waste at the Rose Bowl with as many as 100-ambassadors roaming tailgate lots to collect recyclables during Saturday's matchup against Oregon State as part of the 2019 Pac-12 Zero Waste Challenge. Included in this effort to clean-up waste, UCLA held a sorting competition on Saturday where the Bruins educated fans on the sorting process between landfill, recycle, and compost items.
