Trailing 28-3 after three quarters, No. 9 Washington rattled off 20 straight points against a stingy Ohio State defense to make it close down the stretch, but the Huskies ultimately fell, 28-23, on Tuesday during the 105th Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. In his final game at Washington, Jake Browning threw for 313 yards but did not record a touchdown. Washington's defense had a strong showing after intermission, holding the Buckeyes to 80 total yards after allowing 272 in the first half.
