Sixth-seed Stanford defeated No. 5 seed Texas to win the 2019 NCAA Championship on Wednesday in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The title, the school's ninth in program history, came after junior Henry Shimp clinched the match with a par on the 17th hole. It marks Stanford's first NCAA title since 2007 and the school's sixth over the 2018-19 academic year.
