Utah's Erin Redd-Brandon claims first weekly volleyball honor for program

Utah senior Erin Redd-Brandon is the first Pac-12 volleyball defensive player of the week for the 2013 season. But perhaps more exciting to the middle blocker is the fact that she's the first player from her program to receive a conference weekly honor since Utah joined the Pac-12 in 2011.

Redd-Brandon led the Utes to a 3-0 opening weekend and a Utah Classic trophy with 22 total blocks, putting her in the 400-block club at weekend's end. She also contributed an average of 2.46 kills per set.
